Security
Safety
is one of our top priorities in Kid Crossing. On Sunday mornings, we
have a state-of-the-art computer check-in system for registered
families.
Everyone is required to have appropriate ID and corresponding
guardian and child numbers. If you need to be contacted during a
service concerning your child, his or her ID number will appear on the
screen in the auditorium. If you are a guest you will receive two
identical name tags with your child's name and an ID number. One
tag will go on your child and you will keep the other tag to use when
picking up your child. Children will only be released from Kid
Crossing to individuals who have a guardian ID tag with corresonding
numbers or a guest tag with corresponding numbers. We are continually
striving to improve safety for our children. Volunteer Screening All
Kid Crossing volunteers are screened to ensure the safety of our
kids. It includes a comprehensive application, background and
reference checks, as well as personal interviews.
WellnessTo
ensure the health of our kids and staff, if your child has had any of
the following symptoms within the past 24 hours: diarrhea, rash, fever,
vomiting, open sores, runny nose (anything but clear), or excessive
coughing due to a cold, please do not send them to Kid Crossing or
Wednesday evening activities. DisciplineTo provide the
best learning environment for your children on Sunday and Wednesday, an
incident report will be completed following the third warning of
disruptive behavior. A copy of this report will be given to the parent
at the end of the day's activity. This incident report will also be
completed when a minor injury or accident occurs. |
